Fitment Notes
This is a replacement filter element only. It does not include a complete fuel filter/water separator assembly, mounting head, bowl, drain or mounting hardware.
Before ordering, make sure your assembly uses the Racor 2010-series element. The 2010 element fits only the 500 Turbine Series. It is not interchangeable with the taller 2020 (1000 Series) or 2040 (900 Series) elements.
Application
The 10-micron rating is commonly used for secondary fuel filtration, or for primary filtration where finer particle removal is needed than a 30-micron element provides. Choose the micron rating your engine or equipment manufacturer requires, especially if this is the last filter before the engine.
Changing fuel filter elements at the recommended service intervals helps protect the fuel system from water and contamination. These can restrict fuel flow, reduce performance and wear out fuel-system parts early.
Other Micron Ratings
Racor elements are color-coded by micron rating:
-
2010SM-OR: 2 micron (brown), for final filtration
-
2010TM-OR: 10 micron (blue), for secondary filtration (this item)
-
2010PM-OR: 30 micron (red), for primary filtration
