Racor S3227 10 Micron Spin-On Gasoline Fuel Filter/Water Separator Element for 320R-RAC & 490R-RAC

Racor S3227 is a genuine 10-micron spin-on replacement element for Racor 320R-RAC-01/02 and 490R-RAC-01 marine gasoline fuel filter/water separators. Its Aquabloc® media repels water and removes solid contaminants at 98% efficiency at 10 microns. Water drops down into the bowl so you can drain it off.binnacle+2

It's made for gasoline outboard engines and works with ethanol-blended fuels. It also fits Mercury and MerCruiser fuel filter mounts.

Fitment Notes

This is a replacement element only. It spins onto your existing see-through bowl with its self-venting drain. If you need a new clear bowl, order Racor RK 30475.binnacle+1

This element is for outboard use only. Inboard gasoline engines need a UL-listed element, such as the Racor S3228TUL. The 490R-RAC-01 assembly is rated at 90 GPH, but the element itself is listed at 60 GPH by a retailer.parker+3

Application

A 10-micron element catches more contaminants than a 30-micron element and does a better job of stopping water. That makes it a good choice as a primary filter. Drain the bowl regularly, and replace the element at the service interval your engine maker recommends.finditparts+1
