Racor CCV55115 CCV Hump Hose Fitting – 1-1/2" Hose Barb Adapter

Racor CCV55115 is a genuine 1-1/2" hump hose fitting for Racor closed crankcase ventilation (CCV) systems. It installs in the existing rubber hose between the air cleaner and the turbocharger. It sends filtered crankcase gases from the CCV unit into the engine's air intake.

The turbocharger's vacuum pulls crankcase blow-by gases through the CCV filter media, and this fitting is where those gases re-enter the intake.

This listing is for the fitting only. It does not include hose, clamps, a CCV filter assembly or a tap sleeve.

Before ordering, make sure your CCV outlet hose is 1-1/2" ID. Other sizes are available:

• CCV55113: 1" hose barb

• CCV55114: 1-1/4" hose barb

• CCV55115: 1-1/2" hose barb (this item)

To install, cut a hole in the rubber air intake hose between the air cleaner and the turbo. Place the fitting through the hole with the gasket and washer, then tighten it to seal. Attach the CCV outlet hose to the barb and secure it with a hose clamp.

Application

Hump hose fittings are used on on-highway and off-highway diesel engines, including truck, bus, construction, agricultural and marine equipment. They're a simple way to connect a closed CCV system to an existing rubber intake hose. For metal intake tubes, a Racor tap sleeve may be a better fit.
