Racor 2040V10 10 Micron Fuel Filter Element – Replaces 2040TM-OR & 2040N-10
Racor 2040V10 is a genuine 10-micron replacement fuel filter element for compatible Racor 900 Series Turbine fuel filter/water separator assemblies. It replaces legacy Racor 2040TM-OR, 2040TMOR, 2040N-10, and 2040N10 filter elements.
The 2040V10 uses genuine Racor Aquabloc® media to remove particulate contamination and help separate water from diesel fuel before it reaches sensitive fuel-system components.

This is a replacement filter element only. It does not include a complete fuel filter/water separator assembly, mounting head, bowl, drain, or mounting hardware.
Confirm that your existing assembly uses the Racor 2040-series, 4.6-inch replacement element before ordering. The Racor 2040V10 is the current 10-micron V-series service element for compatible Racor 900 Turbine assemblies. It is designed for newer 900FV and 900VMA housings and is backward compatible with compatible earlier Racor 900 Series Turbine housings. Older 2040TM-OR and 2040N-10 elements should not be used in newer FV or VMA housings.
Application
The 10-micron rating is commonly used for primary or secondary fuel filtration where a finer level of particulate removal is required than a 30-micron element provides. Select the micron rating specified by the engine or equipment manufacturer, particularly when this is the final filter before the engine.
Replacing fuel filter elements at recommended service intervals helps protect fuel-system components from water and contamination that can cause restricted fuel flow, reduced performance, and premature fuel-system component wear. Parker specifies the 2040V10 as a 4.6-inch-tall, 98%-at-10-micron cartridge for 900-series Racor Turbine housings.
