Racor 2040V30 30 Micron Fuel Filter Element – Replaces 2040PM-OR & 2040N-30
Racor 2040V30 is a genuine 30-micron replacement fuel filter element for compatible Racor 900 Series Turbine fuel filter/water separator assemblies. It replaces the older Racor 2040PM-OR, 2040PMOR, 2040N-30 and 2040N30 filter elements.
The 2040V30 uses genuine Racor Aquabloc® media to remove particulate contamination and help separate water from diesel fuel before it reaches sensitive fuel-system components.

Fitment Notes
This is a replacement filter element only. It does not include a complete fuel filter/water separator assembly, mounting head, bowl, drain or mounting hardware.
Before ordering, make sure your assembly uses the Racor 2040-series, 4.6-inch replacement element. The 2040V30 is the current 30-micron V-series element for Racor 900 Turbine assemblies. It is designed for the newer 900FV and 900VMA housings and also fits earlier compatible 900 Series Turbine housings. The older 2040PM-OR and 2040N-30 elements should not be used in the newer FV or VMA housings.
Application
The 30-micron rating is commonly used for primary fuel filtration. It removes larger particles before fuel reaches a finer secondary filter downstream. If this will be the last filter before the engine, check the rating the engine manufacturer requires before choosing an element.
Changing fuel filter elements at the recommended service intervals helps protect the fuel system from water and contamination. These can restrict fuel flow, reduce performance and wear out fuel-system parts early.
