Racor 2010SM-OR 2 Micron Replacement Fuel Filter Element for 500 Turbine Series

Racor 2010SM-OR is a genuine 2-micron replacement fuel filter element for Racor 500 Series Turbine fuel filter/water separator assemblies. It uses genuine Racor Aquabloc® media to remove fine particulate contamination and repel water from diesel fuel before it reaches sensitive fuel-system components.

Fitment Notes

This is a replacement filter element only. It does not include a complete fuel filter/water separator assembly, mounting head, bowl, drain or mounting hardware.

Before ordering, make sure your assembly uses the Racor 2010-series element. The 2010 element fits only the 500 Turbine Series. It is not interchangeable with the taller 2020 (1000 Series) or 2040 (900 Series) elements.

Application

The 2-micron rating is the finest filtration in the 2010-series range. It's commonly used as a final filter when very fine particle removal is needed. Because it catches finer particles, it can clog faster than a 10- or 30-micron element if the fuel is dirty. Check the filtration rating your engine or equipment manufacturer requires before choosing a 2-micron element.

Changing fuel filter elements at the recommended service intervals helps protect the fuel system from water and contamination. These can restrict fuel flow, reduce performance and wear out fuel-system parts early.
